Kathy Breedlove

Kathy is a California-licensed attorney and an adjunct member of Protea’s in-house legal team, assisting with the legal aspects of various development projects. Prior to joining the Protea team, Kathy managed the master plan process for the Hotel del Coronado, including approvals by the city of Coronado and the California Coastal Commission. Working with Protea Properties, she obtained the city of San Diego’s first SB 375 CEQA exemption for a transit-oriented mixed-use development in Bay Park. 

Kathy holds a Bachelors Degree from Michigan State University, JD from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and a Masters in Science in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego. Kathy has previously served on the board of Circulate San Diego and the San Diego Architectural Foundation, including serving as Chair of the Open House Committee. Kathy has a passion for mid-century architecture and is actively involved in planning and organizing Palm Springs Modernism Week events.
